Our agency is seeking a service associate to join our transportation team. Employee will work with transportation customer service department servicing client needs, including communicating with the clients and underwriters, processing policy changes, answering phone calls, making payment etc.

Work Experience Requirements

-          Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients

-          Advise clients on product and service questions through inbound and outbound phone calls, email and fax

-          Process client requests, make payments, communicate with the various insurance company representatives

-          Maintain account records

-          Attend meetings, seminars and programs to continue education while maintaining a Property & Casualty License

-          Support all agency departments as needed

-          Contribute to team efforts to accomplish department goals

Hours: M-F, 8-5

General Description

The ideal candidate will be able to deal with a variety ofpeople and phone calls.  Prior phone callservice experience would be beneficial to this position.  Attention to detail and patience are a must.  Problem solving skills and have the abilityadapt to different situations in a meticulous and efficient manner are highlydesired.

Responsibilities include:

Field a high volume of new and existing incomingclaim calls

Accurately record information

Submit new claims to insurance companiesand assisting clients with questions about the claims process

Document claim information in an agency managementsystem

Provide accurate, valid and completeinformation by following agency practices and procedures

Retain records of client interactions and supportingfiles




Work Experience Requirements

Proven customer support experience

Strong phone skills

Familiarity with basic to intermediatecomputer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, ect.)

Ability to adapt and respond appropriately tovarying situations

Skilled in multi-tasking and timemanagement

Excellent communication skills

Overall drive to contribute to growth of team
